Soundshape Europe receives support from Kansen voor West III
Good news for Speaksee: Soundshape Europe (KVW3-00552) has received a positive funding decision from Kansen voor West III.
With this European support, we can continue investing in technology that helps more people follow what is being said during conversations, meetings and events.
Technology that helps more people participate
Spoken communication is not equally accessible to everyone. People who are deaf or hard of hearing can miss important information when spoken language is not available as text. Language differences can also create barriers during international meetings and events.
With Soundshape, we make spoken content more accessible in live settings through solutions such as live captions and translation. This information can be displayed on screens and personal devices during events.
As part of Soundshape Europe, we will continue investing in the technology behind these solutions and in how they are applied in real-life situations.

From innovation to practical application
Technology at an event should not only work well, but also integrate easily into the existing setup.
That is why Soundshape Europe focuses on both further technological development and practical usability. The support from Kansen voor West III helps us take those next steps.
European support
Soundshape Europe has a total project value of more than €777,000. Of this amount, up to €310,886 is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through Kansen voor West III.
Over the coming period, we will share developments, milestones and practical examples from the project. This will show what the technology can mean in practice for making communication more accessible.
Co-funded by the European Union and Kansen voor West III (ERDF).
